Is the Manhasset Fall Festival a Fundraiser?

Yes.  The Manhasset Fall Festival is a fundraiser being organized by the Tower Foundation of Manhasset.  All proceeds earned will be used to support the Manhasset public schools.

What will the Funds from the Fall Festival be Used For?

The specific initiative is still being decided.  The Tower Foundation is currently working with the school district to potentially support multiple technology-related initiatives already underway including the Future Ready Classroom, the Project Lead the Way science curriculum and much-needed safety and security enhancements.

What is the Tower Foundation of Manhasset?

The Tower Foundation  of Manhasset is a 501(c) organization that provides grants to the Manhasset School District to fund initiatives that enrich the educational experience of the students but need budgetary support. Our volunteers, donors, sponsors, and contributors have funded vital projects within our school district, including our Interactive White Boards Initiative, High School Media Center Modernization, Wi-Fi Initiative, Digitizing the English Classroom Experience, Sixth Grade Chromebook Initiative and the Foreign Language Learning Center among others.

How Is It Different from the Manhasset SCA?

The Tower Foundation is focused on fundraising events for large scale initiatives that support our schools based on guidance from school administrators  While we both aim to improve the educational experience through fundraising, the Tower Foundation typically does not fund or get involved in the day-to-day experiences between teachers, parents and school administrators.  In addition, the Tower Foundation traditionally designates funds raised in a given year for a specific project.

Do I have to Buy a Bracelet to Visit the Festival?  Is there an Entrance Fee?

No.  You are not required to buy a bracelet or to pay an entrance fee. Guests are welcome to roam the festival to eat, shop and participate in various activities.  A variety of games and activities are free including games with the  DJ, photo props and a playground. Some activities, however, will require the purchase of either a bracelet or games tickets be accessible.
